Key Responsibilities
- Teach courses of general, applied toxicology (Courses TOX457 & TOX 458) and forensic medicine (Course FOR 556) as well their practical sections to students of final years in Veterinary College
- Teach the theoretical subsidiaries and practical sections to post-graduate diplomas, master and doctoral students
- Share in preparation of practical, theoretical and oral exams for assessment of under- and postgraduate students

- Professional teaching of undergraduate, as well postgraduates (diploma, master, and doctoral students) the basic and advanced principles of Molecular biology, toxicology and forensic genetics using modern educational techniques
- Troubleshoot the learning difficulties of students and strive to fill deficiencies
- Qualified assessment of strengths and weakness of students along different semesters as well their assessment during final exams
- Brainstorm creative ideas to convert learning weaknesses into strengths
- Started the initiatives of research in Veterinary forensic genetics using molecular biology techniques; especially PCR and qPCR
- Design and conduct experiments for understanding the biological, biochemical and toxicological pathways upon exposure to different chemicals and nanoparticles
- Advise master and doctoral students assessing toxicity of chemicals and nanoparticles
- Managed the departmental animal house; to secure the research needs of lab animals in Veterinary college as well maximize the departmental financial resources
- Write grant proposals for upgrading departmental main labs into certified centers of excellence
