Chairman of Veterinary Pharmacology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Cairo University; Full Professor from 2005 till now. Ph.D. (pharmacology), Canadian-Egyptian Scholarship, Cairo University, 1995 at center for food and animal research, Agriculture Canada, Ottawa, Canada. Teaching Undergraduate and Graduate Courses in University of Science and Technology, Irbid, Jordan (2000-2002) and in Qassim University, Buraidah, Saudi Arabia (2005-2007).
Supervising and discussing several Master and Ph.D. theses in Egypt and Arabian Countries. Expertise in Radioisotopes and different types of Chromatography (GC-HPLC-TLC etc.) for detection of drug residues in tissues and food. Publishing about 80 papers in different international journals enclosed a list of publications. Member of the executive committee for evaluation of performance at faculty of Veterinary Medicine on behave of Cairo University Center for Performance Appraisal and Development. Nowadays the research is shifted to nanotechnology (Isolation and treatment of Nanobacteria by ethnopharmacological agents) and genotoxicity of food additives. Attained many international conferences and obtained several awards and prizes.

• حصل على جائزة الأستاذ الدكتور حسن حمدى لعام 1999 بناء على ترشيح الكلية للجامعة لاحسن انتاج علمى
• حصل على جائزة جامعة القاهرة التشجيعية للبحوث العلمية لعام 2004 فى مجال العلوم الحيوية (البيولوجية) النظرية و التطبيقية فى تخصص العلوم البيطري
• حصل على جائزة الدولة التشجيعية فى العلوم لعام 2004/2005 فى مجال العلوم الزراعية
• حصل على جائزة جامعة القاهرة للنشر العلمي الدولي سنويا منذ عام 2008 و حتى 2018
• حصل على جائزة جامعة القاهرة التقديرية فى العلوم البينية ومتعددة التخصصات وعلوم المستقبل لعام 2018
