Hanafy Mahmoud received the Bachelor and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt, in 2009 and 2012, respectively. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree. permanent magnet synchronous machines, focusing on analytical and finite-element modeling, and faulty conditions analysis, as well as, design of synchronous reluctance (SR) and PMSR machines.
