Omar Sayed Saeed is a PhD candidate in virology at Cairo University in Egypt's faculty of veterinary medicine. Throughout his undergraduate and graduate studies, he has continuously demonstrated his academic excellence. With his Master's thesis on bat viruses and their impact on evolutionary processes, he has already accomplished one of his outstanding goals. Regarding his professional background, it is stated that he has both teaching and lab experience. He acquires the teaching expertise through his academic position as an teaching assistant of virology, where he teaches multiple undergraduate courses in virology, vaccineology, and molecular biology using a variety of teaching techniques, including group discussions, presentations, demonstrations, and problem-solving. He has chaired numerous international symposiums and published two peer-reviewed articles in English. He has published two peer-reviewed articles in English and organized and chaired many international symposiums on Virology and Environmental Hygiene. He was elected to the best improviser at AUC 2019-2020.
