Elmetwaly, M. S., is an assistant lecturer of metals conservation at the Conservation Department,
Faculty of Archaeology, Cairo University, Egypt. He received his B.Sc in conservation in 2007 and M.Sc in conservation of outdoor bronze statues in 2014 on the subject entitled “Treatment and Conservation of Outdoor Historical Bronze Statues with Application on a Selected Object from Cairo”.
He is currently preparing his PhD thesis entitled “Evaluation of the Performance of Nano-Coatings for the Protection of Outdoor Bronze Sculptures with Application on a Chosen Object.” His main interests include the study of corrosion products, protection and conservation plans of outdoor metals.
