The National Institute of Laser Enhanced Science (NILES), Cairo University is organizing the African conference on Laser and Spectroscopy (ACOLS) on the occasion of the international year of light (IYL 2015). It is the first international conference in a series of biennial scientific conferences devoted to the field of laser and spectroscopy researches in Africa.
