Waleed Azmy Ragheb

I have graduated from Information Technology Department at Faculty of Computers and Information, Cairo University, Egypt at 2007. Upon graduation and ranking 2nd of my class, I worked as a teaching assistant in my college. I have a strong passion for teaching and inspiring younger students. What I have enjoyed most about this position is supervising students in their graduation projects. Five years experience as a teaching assistant keens my experience in the application of computation in many fields.

I got my Master of Science degree from Information Technology Department at Faculty of Computers and Information, Cairo University, Egypt at 2014. My MSc degree was a research based one, the title of the thesis was “Emotional Speech Detection and Synthesis”. The proposed work introduces concatinative based system to synthesize emotional speech with more natural, expressive and different emotional style.

I believe with these educational and technical values that I possess, pursuing a PhD will add more to it and expose me more to Computer science research areas. This is what I'm aiming to achive in this current short period.
