Said Mohamed Saaid Ibrahim ( Kafr elshiekh, 1986). Mr. Said obtained his B.Sc. degree in 2007 from the Faculty of Science of Cairo University (Geology major). Due to his excellence in the undergraduate Geology program, he was appointed right after graduation as a teaching assistance (TA) in the Geology Department of CU. In parallel, he worked for GEO-consultant group as geotechnical consultant. He received his master degree in structure Geology (The Influence of the preexisting structures on the geometry and evolution of extensional faut pattern, Gulf of Suez, Egypt.) from Cairo University, in 2013. He is working now on his PhD project (Structure geomerty and kinematics of Nubian fault system, South Western Desert, Egypt). In 2015, He has awarded Erasmus Mundus El Idrisi scholarship to complete hs PhD project in Padova University, Italy. He has participated in various mapping projects and field surveys of Gulf of Suez and Red Sea in Egypt and Saudi Arabi. His research interests includes remote sensing and geological mapping, strike slip tectonics, geo-structural analysis of fault zones.
