Sherif Khattab is an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Computers and Information, Cairo University. His research focuses on the systems aspects of cybersecurity as applied to cloud computing, Internet-of-Things, electronic voting, and Big Data. Sherif has an h-index of 11 (Google Scholar Index) and 6 (Scopus Index) with 45+ publications and he has successfully supervised 15 graduate students. He had interned in Google Inc., Ericsson Data Networks, and Bosch Research. Sherif has taught graduate and undergraduate security courses with a special interest in hands-on ethical hacking courses. He obtained his Ph.D. and M.Sc. in computer science from the Department of Computer Science, University of Pittsburgh in 2008 and 2004, respectively. Sherif has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Cairo University in 1998. |
