Signals and Systems (ELC 225B)

Semester:
Spring

Signals and Systems is an introduction to analog and digital signal processing, which is an integral part of engineering systems in multiple disciplines. The course presents the basic concepts for both continuous-time and discrete-time signals and systems. This includes the various types of systems, their representations and the different ways to evaluate their response to input signals. The course also presents the Fourier Analysis as a method to represents signals and systems in frequency domain. An introduction to additional topics, including filtering, modulation, and sampling, is also presented in this course.
