Scholarship opportunities for doctoral studies in the fields of natural sciences, business administration and economics and education for post-graduate students from Egypt (citizenship and residence)

Philipps-Universität Marburg partners with the Yousef Jameel Scholarship Fund, and in this context awards stipends for doctoral studies to post-graduate students in the faculties of Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics, and in the Faculty of Education.
Doctoral projects dealing with the following subjects will be considered as particularly worthy of support:
- Sustainable, Organic Desert Agriculture
- Plant-based Medicine and Pharmacy
- Renewable Energy Production
- Education
Application requirements
- Applicants must be citizens of Egypt and should currently reside there. They should express a convincing desire to return to Egypt.
- Applicants must have a qualification equivalent to a German university degree and meet the requirements for doctoral admission to the respective faculty at Philipps-Universität Marburg.
- English language skills: Please note that the test result should not be older than two years
- TOEFL© score: not less than 550 (Paper Based Test); not less than 80 (Internet Based Test)
- IELTS© score: not less than Band 6
- German language skills are not required. Candidates should be eager to learn German after their arrival, however.
