Sameh Abd Elwahab, professor of Population Geography, in the Faculty of Arts - Cairo University and an expert in Demographic Studies. Former Head of the Quality Assurance Unit in the Faculty of Arts – Cairo University. An accredited international mentor from the University of Missouri in the fields of Strategic Planning and Total Quality Management (TQM).
Prof. Abd Elwahab is a researcher in the fields of Demography, Population Geography, Cartography, Political Geography, Human Development Studies, and Environmental Impact Studies. Running multiple projects and regional planning and assessment studies both in Egypt and abroad.
Moreover, Abd Elwahab is an author of several books in population studies, cartography, human geography, research principles, and human development studies. Hold expertise in teaching curricula in the fields of population, cartography, regional planning, development studies, geographic information systems, aerial photography, and the principles of scientific research for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
In addition to the aforementioned, Prof. Abd Elwahab also has been a supervisor of numerous master’s and Ph.D. theses in Egypt and abroad, as well as preparing, establishing, and developing educational plans and programs on the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Moreover, he has been on multiple jury committees for the evaluation of master’s and Ph.D. theses.
He has also prepared, supervised, and provided various training courses, workshops, and development programs for academic and assistant staff, university leadership, and university employees in Egypt and abroad. As well as being a member and an expert in several scientific societies, consultancy organizations, and organizational boards and committees.
