El-Din, A. E., R. A. Ramadan, and M. B. Fayek, "VEGK: Virtual ECC Group Key for Wireless Sensor Networks", the 2nd international conference on Computing, Networking and Communications (ICNC'13) at the technical symposia Communications and Information Security (CIS 2013), San Diego, USA, January, 2013. Abstract

A Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a collection of smart sensor nodes cooperated together for achieving the desire of the assigned application. However, these nodes suffer from different limitations including memory available, computational and communicational limitations. Clustering these nodes is considered as one of the main solutions for prolonging the lifetime of the network. At the same time, security is another challenge for WSNs due to the critical information wirelessly transferred through the network. In this paper, we propose a security framework called Virtual ECC Group Key (VEGK) merging Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) with symmetric pairwise keys along with virtual ECC group keys. In addition, we believe that merging the security with clustering will be beneficial to the energy saving in WSN. Based on the analysis of different scenarios, our proposed security framework is proved to protect the network from many attacks.

Abstract

Medianes Alter: 69 Jahre, durchschnittliche Brustgröße: 1105ccm (HF) vs. 1147ccm (NF), Chemotherapie: 14% (HF) vs. 11% (NF).

Sayed-Ahmed, A., H. A. H. Fahmy, and R. Samy, "Verification of Decimal Floating-Point Fused-Multiply-Add Operation", The Ninth {ACS/IEEE} International Conference on Computer Systems and Applications, ({AICCSA}), Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, dec, 2011. Abstract

Decimal floating-point fused-multiply-add (FMA) software or hardware designs require a verification process to prove that the design is in compliance with the IEEE Standard for Floating-Point Arithmetic (IEEE Std 754-2008). Our work represents the first verification technique to verify the decimal FMA designs using simulation based coverage models. The paper describes in details the coverage models needed in the verification of the decimal FMA, the FMA engine used to solve the coverage models, and the results of using that technique in the verification of SilMinds FMA hardware design, DecNumber FMA software design, and Intel-Decimal-Library FMA software design. The Technique has proven its efficiency in discovering bugs in FMA software and hardware designs.
