El-Sayed, M., Parent's Stress & Coping Strategy with ADHD Severity, : cairo, 2015. Abstract

A Parent with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) child suffers from psychological stress, depression and parental role dysfunction, this state consequently had negative effect on their coping strategies, role, and child prognosis. The aim of the study was to assess parent's stress and coping strategy with level of severity of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children. A descriptive correlation design was utilized in this study. purposeful sample consisted of 150 parent with ADHD child attending at out-patient clinic of the Center of Social and Preventive Medicine . Four Tools were used to measure the current study variables, socio-demographic data sheet, Parent Stress Index (PSI), coping strategies questionnaire and Conners test. The result revealed that, there were negative significant correlation between stress & coping (p = 0.0001). also represented that, there was statistically significant relation between number of siblings and parent's stress, and their coping ( p=.002) . The study concluded that it is important to consider parent's stress and their used coping strategies in families of children with ADHD. Clinical guidelines and therapeutic approaches for parent's stress, coping and ADHD are not yet available but are disparately needed ,In-service training should be applied for psychiatric nursing staff to be able to deal with this type of behavior are recommended.

The study aims at identifying the Parental education philosophy and role in
educating pre-school children in light of the directives of Quran Kareem and
sunnah of the prophet. The researcher has used the analytical descriptive method,
and the analytical critical method. The sample of the study comprised of (150)
kindergarten teachers in rural and urban areas in the Governorate of Dakahlleya,
and has also included (210) parents of the children enrolled in the rural and urban
area kindergartens in the Governorate of Dakahlleya, and has also included (70)
children, male and female in rural and urban areas in the Governorate of
Dakahlleya. The researcher used study tools, represented in (a questionnaire for all
teachers and parents, and an observation card for children).
Findings have demonstrated:
By applying T-test between the two groups of the study sample (rural and urban
children), the result came insignificant, meaning, there were no statistically
significant differences between the two groups in fulfillment of the observation
card dimensions, which means that the indicators significant of such dimensions
do not realize in rural and urban area kindergartens.
