This Thesis aims at studying the synthetic form of Hebrew sentence in general, and tries to distinguish between the synthetic and semantic functions of the sentence parts. It also aims at distinguishing between the different synthetic types of Hebrew language, and highlight the bases that differentiate between these types. It also clarifies the distinctive character of the journalistic writer Gideon Levy; the researcher tried to apply this linguistic analytic study on Levy's articles, and tried to clarify the average of using each different synthetic type in his articles.
The study contains preface, five parts, conclusion, and references:
Preface: a brief overview of the importance, aims, and methodology of this study, and a brief overview of its parts and chapters.
Part I
Chapter One: the researcher tries to articulate the formation of the Simple Sentence, and tries to define the synthetics parts which forms this type of sentences which in turn consists of two main parts: (Subject) and (Predicate), they constitute (the basis of the sentence), this sentence can also contains other complements of sentence, some are attached to the Noun, some attached to the Verb, some words do not belong to the form of the sentence and it is not a part of it known as (Interceptor Sentences).
Chapter Two: an applied study on The Simple Sentence in Gideon Levy's journalistic articles.
Part II
Chapter One: the researcher tries to articulate the formation of the Inclusive Sentence, and tries to define the synthetics parts which forms this type of sentences, this sentence contains repeated parts that perform the same grammatical or synthetics function, this function that includes repeated parts called inclusive part. The Researcher noted that the Inclusive Sentence can be extended to include another type of sentences called (Inclusive Sentence with Complex Sentence).
Chapter Two: an applied study on the Inclusive Sentence in Gideon Levy's journalistic articles.
Part III
Chapter One: the researcher tries to articulate the formation of The Compound Sentence, and tries to define the synthetics parts which forms this type of sentences, this sentence links several independent sentences that do not relate to each other, each of this independent sentences in The Compound Sentence called (Component), each component forms a complete sentence which consists of Subject and Predicate. The researcher noted that The Compound Sentence can be extended to include another type of sentences which is (The Compound Sentence with Inclusive Sentence) and (The Compound Sentence with Complex Sentence) and (The Compound Sentence with Inclusive and Complex Sentences).
Chapter Two: an applied study on The Compound Sentence in Gideon Levy's journalistic articles.
Part IV
Chapter One: Tries to articulate the formation of The Complex Sentence, and tries to define the synthetics parts which forms this type of sentences, noting that these sentences consists of complete sentences as an replacement to one or several parts of the sentence, these complete sentences represent subordinate clauses related to other main clause in this complex sentence. the researcher noted that the complex sentence can be extended to include another type of sentences which is (the Complex Sentence with Inclusive Sentence) and (the Complex Sentence with Compound Sentence) and (the Complex Sentence with Inclusive and Compound Sentences).
Chapter Two: an applied study on The Complex Sentence in Gideon Levy's journalistic articles.
Part V
Chapter One: the researcher tries to articulate some of sentences types that take a particular form and manner in formation which known as (sentences with particular form) there is three types in this section which is (ambiguous sentence) and (emphatic sentence) and (elliptical sentence).
Chapter Two: an applied study on the sentences that take a particular in Gideon Levy's journalistic articles.
Conclusion: the findings of the study.
