About me

Nahla Nabil Makhlouf is a Research and Lecturer Assistant at the department of Architecture, Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University. Nahla has obtained dual master's degree from both Stuttgart University and Ain-Shams University in Integrated Urbanism and Sustainable Design. Further, she obtained another master's degree from Cairo University in Architecture Studies.

Nahla is interested in studying vernacular buildings, energy efficiency, and renewable energy applications in remote desert areas. In regard to informal areas, she has a practical experience related to the implementation of biogas applications in informal areas. She is also interested in multicultural and interdisciplinary research.
