Dr. Mona El-Kalioby is a dermatologist and a dermatology researcher. She was graduated from Kasr Al-Ainy School of Medicine, Cairo University in 2010, with grade of excellent with honors, ranking the third on her class. Then, she had her dermatology residency, Master's degree and Doctorate degree in Dermatology at the same University.

Her main research interests are psoriasis, lasers, cosmetic surgery and bullous disorders. She shared as a co-author in more than 15 research papers, published in peer-reviewed Journals. She coauthored a book chapter "Periorbital Dermatology and Oculoplasty" in Oculoplastic Surgery book published by springer Nature. She also participated as a speaker and trainer in various national and international conferences and events. 

She is a recipient of the 2018 International publication award from Cairo University, 2019 Strauss and Katz Scholarship award from the American Academy of Dermatology, and the 2019 John Stratigos Memorial Scholarship award from the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology.
