Mohamed Refaat Elghobashy is Professor of Analytical chemistry at Analytical Chemistry Department, Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University.
Mohamed obtained the BSc at the Faculty of Pharmacy; Cairo University in June 1996 graded Excellent with Honor.
Mohamed was awarded the MSc degree in July 2003 from Faculty of Pharmacy Cairo University, Egypt. The MSc thesis was about Analytical study of some anti-inflammatory non-steroidal drugs.
Mohamed prepared a PhD thesis entitled “Analytical study on some smooth muscle relaxant drugs: and was awarded the PhD title in December 2006.
Research Interests
Analysis of Pharmaceutical compounds utilizing different analytical techniques as Spectrophotometry, High performance liquid Chromatography, TLC-Densitometry and Ion selective electrodes.
