He has 10 years experience in co-teaching and teaching of several mining and geo-engineering courses. His research interests are: open pit mine planning and design, quarrying optimization, dimension stone, rock testing and characterization, non-destructive testing, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), applications of science and technology in culture heritage, rock slope stability, and geothermal energy.
Currently he is assistant professor at Mining, Petroleum, and Metallurgical Engineering department & director of Rock Engineering Laboratory. He is assistant coordinator of ScanPyramids project.
