Mohamed M. El-Mogy is a Professor at the Department of Vegetable Crops at Faculty of Agriculture - Cairo University in Egypt. He received his B.E. degree in horticulture science from Cairo University, Giza, Egypt, in 1996, and the Ph.D. degree in vegetable science (minor: postharvest technology) Cairo University, Giza, Egypt, and Humboldt University, Berlin, Germany as a dual program in 2007. He was working as visiting scientist at the Bioscience Department, Cardiff University, Wales, UK, French National Institute for Agricultural Research, Avignon, France, Swedish University of Agriculture Science, Alnarp, Sweden in 2017, 2014, and 2010, respectively. Also, he was working as researcher at King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from 2011-2013.
Research Interest:
Production of vegetable crops under open field and greenhouse conditions, Sustainable and organic crops production. Postharvest technology. Pre and postharvest factors affecting on quality and storage ability of vegetable crops Non-chemical control of pre and postharvest diseases.
