Manal Bosseila ا.د. منال بصيلة

Prof. Dr.Manal 

 is currently a Professor of Dermatology, at Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University (CU). She is head of Dermoscopy & Trichoscopy Unit at KasrAlAiny Hopsital, where non-invasive diagnosis of many skin and hair disorders is provided for patients. Since 2008 Dr Manal has developed special interest and experience in diagnosing various pigmented lesions using 

, which is a non-invasive epiluminescence microscopy applied to the skin, allowing the differentiation of benign pigmented lesions from malignant skin lesions, such as Basal Cell carcinoma or Malignant Melanoma, without the need for diagnostic skin biopsy. She is a speaker and trainer at many dermoscopy conferences and  workshops.

She is Director of Photodynamic Therapy & Fluorescence Diagnosis Unit at the Dermatology Department, as well as Coordinator at Phototherapy Unit at Faculty of Medicine, CU. 

-Prof Manal is the coordinator of the consulting committee of cultural relations and research projects at the postgraduate studies & research sector at Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University.

- Practicing 

: diagnosing and treating various skin diseases since more than 20 years, thus providing the patient with all possible lines of management to achieve patient satisfaction.

- She has been an 

 of “Surgical and Cosmetic Dermatology” and “Phototherapy” since 2008. Lectures, group discussion and hands-on clinical application are used as teaching methods for young dermatologists from all over Egypt. Dr Manal is a certified trainer.  Also a trainer of " How to write a competitive research proposal" workshop at Cairo University, Ain Shams University and MESH (Middle East School ofHepatology) conf in Jordan.

- Dr Manal Bosseila has 20 publications in international peer-reviewed journals, with equal number of publications in Egyptian and regional scientific journals.

- She is a speaker at many international and regional conferences, participating actively yearly in around 5 international and regional conferences.

-Prof Manal served actively in the newly established 

since its launch in September 2014. She acted as director for the international relations office at the health sector of Cairo University until end of year 2015.
