This course aims to introduce the most widely used quantitative and graphical statistical techniques in industry and other areas to improve quality and productivity. It is designed to give undergraduate students in statistics an understanding of the statistical methods and theories that form the basis for the procedures that are used in quality control applications. The course includes various statistical process control techniques including acceptance sampling plans and control chart approaches.
