A research group of experimental physical chemists and physicists at atomically resolved dynamics department headed by R. J. Dwayne Miller, director of Max Planck Institute for the structure and Dynamics of matter (MPSD) in Hamburg, Germany. The research focus in on understanding molecular reaction dynamics and there are sub groups that addressing multi multidisciplinary fields, and the sub-group is related the most to our interests of research is femtosecond electron diffraction (FED), aiming at observing the atomic motion in primary timescale by developing ultrabright electron source allowing recording atomic movies, in which they present a RF gun capable of producing sub 100 fs electron pulse in single-shot mode and they show by performing simulation that their RF cavity can produce 60 fs (FWHM) (Daoud et al. 2017), the development of brighter and ultrabright electron and x-ray sources allowing atomic resolution to structural dynamics (Miller. 2014)
