Eng. Khaled Helal was born in Cairo, Egypt in 1989. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in mining engineering from Cairo University, Giza, Egypt in 2011 and 2018, respectively. His M.S. research included the influence of blasting on grinding effort as a part of the blast to mill optimization approach. His PhD research will mainly be focused on using the Nondestructive Testing Techniques in monitoring, assessment, and preservation of culture heritage structures. Eng. Khaled is the responsible of the undergraduate tutorial sections of courses (Rock drilling and blasting, underground mining engineering, engineering geology).
