Engineering Drawing is a general category course that is studied by all preparatory year students in the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University.

The course mainly introduces the students to the skill of using drawings as an engineering means of communication. The students are introduced to various types of drawings in that direction, including plane, 3D, machine, steel and intersection of 3D surfaces.
