Inas A. Yassine received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from the Biomedical Engineering and systems Department (BMES), Cairo University (CUFE) in 2003, and 2006 respectively. She has received her Ph.D. degree from West Virginia University, USA. She is currently an SBME Assistant Professor. She is also serving as IEEE YP- Egypt Section board secretary from February 2015.
Dr. Yassine has joined CUFE in 2003 as a teaching Assistant, later she Joined WVU as a research and Teaching Assistant. Inas had also served as a Manager in deputy for the medical Equipment Calibration Laboratory, (MECL), SBME, CUFE. In Addition, she joined Siemens R&D Malvern, USA as an intern in 2009. and Universidad Politechnica de Madrid (UPM) as a senior researcher in 2013.
In July 2003, she had been honored a Nabil Bassiouny Award and received the Best Graduation Project Award and Best MSc. Degree Thesis Award in 2006 2008 respectively. In 2009, she received Best Paper Award from the International Symposium on Visual Computing, USA. In 2010, she was also received WVU Women Recognition Award, WV, USA. Her current research interests include Machine Learning, Medical Image analysis and visualization, Data Science and analytics.
