Bio
Ingy Hassan is an assistant professor of Drama at the Department of English Language and Literature, Cairo University. She received her MA from San Jose State University, California,U.S.A. Her MA thesis was on the autobiographical elements in Eugene O’Neill’s drama. She received her PhD from Cairo University. Her PhD dealt with adaptations of Sophocles’ Antigone in selected modern plays. Her research interests are comparative literature and cultural politics in drama.
