Bio

Hussein Abdulbadea is an Assistant Lecturer and a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Oriental Languages - Faculty of Arts - Cairo University, where he has been a faculty member since 2011. Hussein earned a master's degree in December 2016, which investigates the relationship between the Old Testament and the Israeli Society, with a focus on Settlement in the Old Testament and its effect on Zionist Thought and Israeli Education.

In addition, Hussein was an executive supervisor at the Faculty and Leadership Development Center (FLDC) between 2011 - 2014. Moreover, Hussein was the admin of his department website: http://orientalgawda.wordpress.com/.

Hussein has experience in the field of leadership and communication skills and the ability to solve problems, as a result of his personal experience, including that he served in the armed forces as a first lieutenant.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Religious and Cultural Encounters between Muslims and Jews in the Medieval and Modern Ages, Comparative Religion, Religious Studies, Jewish Studies, Arabic and Judeo-Arabic Manuscripts.

Tourism
