Bio
Hisham M. Soliman was born in Cairo Egypt in 1949. He received the BSc(with honors) and MSc dgrees in Electrical Engineering from Cairo University, Egypt, in 1972 and 1975, respectively and the PhD in automatic control from the University of Paul Sababtier, Toulouse, France, in 1980. He is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at Cairo University, Cairo, Egypt. He taught at the universities of: Saskatchewan, Canada; Garyounis, Libya; Emirates, UAE; and Yanbu industrial college, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Sultan Qaboos , Oman.
His areas of research include Hierarchical/decentralized control , robust control and power system control. He is a member of the Egyptian Engineering Syndicate.
