Biography

I am an Assistant Lecturer at the Business Administration Department, Faculty of Commerce at Cairo University. Currently, I am a doctoral researcher at the Department of Marketing at the University of Strathclyde, UK. I am also a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and certified management and business educator (CMBE) from the Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS). 

I have a wide spectrum of academic background in various areas in the business discipline. My research interests include Actor/Customer Engagement, Digital Marketing, Artificial Intelligence, Service Innovation, Customer Experience, Service-Dominant Logic, Value Co-Creation and Consumer behaviour. I also hold experience in qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods research designs.  

I have substantial teaching and lecturing experience. My teaching efforts are addressing different marketing-related courses including marketing principles, introduction to marketing, digital marketing, international marketing, marketing promotion and communication, and strategic marketing. In addition to teaching other subjects in the management area that include management in a global context, business principles, project economics, sales management, and production and operation management. 

I was nominated for the Teaching Excellence Award (TEA) from the University of Strathclyde three times in May 2018 for the 'best tutor' category; in May 2019 for the 'most supportive' category and in June 2020 for the 'best tutor', 'most supportive' and 'best personal of the year' categories.
