Research & Teaching Activities
A) Research Interests:
- Exploring the health effects of bioactive milk components and probiotics by using different animal models (i.e. obesity, fatty liver, hypertension and diabetes).
- Antioxidant and angiotensin converting enzymes inhibitory activities of bioactive milk peptides.
- Influence of cross-linking by Transglutaminase on different characteristics and health effects of milk and Dairy products.
B) Teaching:
Teaching different courses for undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the field of human nutrition and food & dairy sciences.

A Fulbright scholar grant for 9 months at The Ohio State University, USA for doing a research project entitled “Potential effect of whey proteins on fatty liver and insulin resistance as important metabolic syndrome components” Sep, 2012-June, 2013.
