    Career Experience/Job History

  • Working aas assisstant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology from October 2017 till now.
  • Worked as a lecturer of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Obstetrics and Gynecology department; Kasr El-Aini Hospital Cairo University from October 2008 till October 2017.
  • Working as assistant lecturer of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Obstetrics and Gynecology department; Kasr El-Aini Hospital Cairo University from June 2005 to October 2008.
  • Clinical Demonstrator of obstetrics and gynecology in Obstetrics and Gynecology department; Kasr El-Aini Hospital Cairo University from November 2004 to June 2005.
  • Resident at department of obstetrics and gynecology in Obstetrics and Gynecology department; Kasr El-Aini Hospital Cairo University from October 2001 to October 2004.

    Experience
    • Management of infertility: various  kinds of managing infertility including assisted reproductive technologies
    • Obstetrically; antenatal care, management of abortion and ectopic pregnancies vaginal deliveries, operative vaginal (forceps delivery) and cesarean sections, management of complicated vaginal and cesarean deliveries including hysterectomy, management of various obstetric and medical complications with pregnancy; management of high risk pregnancy and postpartum care.
    • basic and advanced obstetric ultrasound for gestational age, sex, growth, fetal wellbeing, detection of fetal anomalies
    • Gynecologic ultrasound: for folliculometry, detection of focal lesions, and differential diagnosis of pelvi-abdominal or adnexal masses.
    • Management of other gynecologic problems: family planning, infections, benign and malignant pelvic tumors.
    • Operations: Ovum pick up and embryo transfer, diagnostic and operative laparoscopy, diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy, valval and vaginal masses resection or marsupialization, abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy, myomectomy.
    • Experience in IVF unit of Cairo University:
    • Working as a consultant of IVF in the IVF unit of Cairo University from 2016 till now
    • Experience in High Risk Pregnancy Unit in Obstetrics and Gynecology department; Kasr El-Aini Hospital Cairo university

Working as a consultant of Obstetrics dealing with high risk pregnancies (including heart disease, Diabetes mellitus, Thyroid disease, renal, hepatic, and various endocrine diseases with pregnancy in addition to various congenital anomalies needing proper evaluation with high quality ultrasound, other investigations,  possible In-utero treatment- in conjunction with fetal medicine unit staff- and proper planning for delivery with possible immediate postnatal correction or treatment of the anomaly. Also we manage high risk obstetric complications like placenta accreta with pregnancy with proper planning for cesarean hysterectomy or conservative management. We also manage bad obstetric history patients like recurrent abortions and recurrent intra uterine fetal deaths) at Kasr El-Aini Hospital Cairo University from March 2008 till now.
