Bio

Prof. Dr. Ehab Mostafa holds the position of Assistant Professor (Specialty: Bioenvironmental Engineering) at the Department of Agricultural Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture, Cairo University, Egypt. He held the position of Research Scientist at the Seoul National University, Institute for Agricultural Engineering in South Korea. He has been awarded the degree “Doctor agrariarum” (Dr. agr.) from the Institute of Agricultural Engineering, University of Bonn, Germany. He has more than 12 publications, 5 thereof are peer-reviewed articles published in international journals with impact factor. He attended more than 10 international conferences and workshops, where he participated in organizing 3 international conferences and exhibitions. Additionally, he taught 15 undergraduate and postgraduate courses throughout his career.  He has supervised one Ph.D. student and 2 M.Sc. students. His main research and teaching interests are bioenvironmental engineering, air quality engineering, natural and mechanical ventilation, gaseous emissions (greenhouse gases and ammonia emissions), odor emissions, dust emissions, emissions abatement techniques, emissions inventory, biofilters and biofiltration, slurry treatment, manure management, agricultural waste management, anaerobic digester design and biogas production, agricultural buildings, green buildings, heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC), evaporative cooling pads, the microclimate in livestock housing, heat stress in dairy cattle, planning and designing livestock buildings, structures, and construction materials, mathematical modeling, precision livestock farming, information technology, and expert systems.
