Bio
Emad K. Al-Hussaini has received his B.Sc degree from Ain-Shams
University in 1964 and M.Sc and PH.D degrees from Cairo University
in1974 and1977 respectively.Since 1970 he has been with the Electronics
and Communications department at the faculty of engineering and
is currently emeritus professor there.He was a research fellow at
Imperial College ,London,U.K. and at the Moore School of Electrical
Engineering,University of Pennsylvania,Philadelphia,PA,U.S.A.,in the
academic years 1976/1977 and 1981/1982 respectively.
In 1990 he received the Egyptian national encouragement award for
outstanding engineering research for the year 1989. .In 2007 , he received Cairo
University award of excellence in Engineering.In2018 he received Cairo University award of appreciation in Engineering for the year 2017.
He has written several papers for technical journals and conferences.His
research interest include signal processing,fading channel
communications,modulation and cellular mobile radio systems.He
has supervised several students for their M.Sc and Ph.D. degrees.
He is a life senior member of the IEEE.
