Dr. Elfeky graduated from the Faculty of science, Chemistry department, Menoufiya University, Egypt (1994). She completed her Ph.D. in Photochemistry in 2006 at National Institute of Enhanced Laser Sciences (NILES), Cairo University. In 2006, she appointed as a lecturer at NILES and in 2012, she has been promoted to Assistant Professor. She was a post doctor at Bath University, United Kingdom 2007 and honorary post doctor at Birmingham University, United Kingdom 2008.
