Dr. Asmaa is currently
working as an Associate Professor at the architecture Department, Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University. She works as a consultant for the UN HABITAT, GOPP (General organization for Physical Planning), and other governmental and non governmental organizations.
She is a coordinator and instructor for the Double Master Program 'Revitalization of Historic City Districts' with Cottbus University in Germany. She is also a coordinator in the AET (Architecture and Engineering Technology ' program in the credit hour system in the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University.
She represented Faculty of Engineering and Cairo university in many official parties including 'The Millenium Development Program' with the United Nations.
She periodically works as a part time instructor in the AUC, MSA, and other private universities.
