Doaa M. Ghaith received her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Medicine from Cairo University, Giza, Egypt in 2000 and 2009, respectively. In 2012 she got her M.D. in clinical microbiology from the department of clinical and chemical pathology, faculty of medicine, Cairo university.
Currenty she is a lecturer in the department of clinical and chemical pathology, faculty of medicine, Cairo university.
From 2009 till 2012 she was an assistant lecturer in the department of clinical and chemical pathology, faculty of medicine, Cairo university.
From 2006 till 2009 she was a teaching assistant in clinical and chemical pathology department, faculty of medicine, Cairo University.
From 2002 till 2006 she was a resident doctor in Kasr Elieny hospital, Cairo university
Her research interest is in updates in microbiological diagnostic techniques specially for detection of antimicrobial resistance and infection control.
Doaa Ghaith is a member of the American Society of Microbiology (ASM) since 2012, and the Egyptian Society of Laboratory Medicine (ESLM) since 2009.
