Zahraa Badr is a teaching assistant with a Master's degree in the Faculty of Mass Communication at Cairo University. Her Master’s thesis is in the Journalism Department about ‘Effects of Media Ownership Concentration on Content Diversity in the Egyptian Media’. Her research interests are mainly media ownership, media monopoly, public sphere, pluralism, and diversity. Also, she co-authored a paper in the IAMCR conference in 2016 about ‘the Representation of HIV/AIDS in the Egyptian Cinema’.
