Mostafa Rashad M.

Eng. Mostafa Rashad was born in Cairo, Egypt in 1981. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from Cairo University, Giza, Egypt in 2005 and 2014, respectively. His M.S. research included a computer-aided design software for bulk material belt conveyors has been developed using Microsoft Excel and SolidWorks programs; the software provides a comprehensive design of belt components as well as constructional and working drawings of these components. Additionally, it includes a database for different conveyed materials and belt conveyor components. The design calculations within the software are based on the code (DIN 22101) and codes of international companies producing belt conveyor. The generated drawings are complete in every aspect including complete views, dimensions, material, drawing number, description, quantities and weight.Since 2007, he has been a teaching assistant of Mechanical Engineering at Cairo University . His current research interests include computer aided design (CAD) ,optimization and product design and development. Eng. Mostafa has taught undergraduate tutorial sections of courses (machine design I, machine design II, engineering graphics, machine drawing).
