Amira El-Ayouti
is a Lecturer Assistant at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, Egypt. Currently, she is a PhD student at the School of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Glasgow, United Kingdom. She received her M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Statistics (with first honor) from Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University.
Her research interests include spatio-temporal modelling, generalized additive models, smoothing and environmental statistics with a particular focus on water pollution. She joined the International Environmetrics Society (TIES) in 2011 and has been selected for the John Wiley and TIES best student presentation award for her paper titled ”Spatial Heterogeneity ofWater Quality of the Nile River in Egypt at the 22nd annual conference of TIES.
