Mamdouh H. Nasr was born in Cairo, Egypt, in 1989. He received the B.Sc.and M.Sc degrees in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Cairo University, Egypt, in 2011 and 2014, respectively. From 2012 till 2014 he was working as a Teaching and Research Assistant in the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering, Cairo University. From May to Oct 2013 he worked in a joint project between Cairo University and the American University in Egypt. In 2014 he was admitted for Ph.D. at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Stanford University. His research interests include high power devices, microwave circuits and devices, metamaterials, numerical methods in electromagnetics, bio-medical applications of electromagnetics, RF power harvesting, antennas and matching circuits.
