Professor at Cairo University, Dean of the Faculty of Mass Communication Sinai University, and a media consultant for Cairo University’s president, with over 22 years of extensive experience in several capacities & media institutes.
She attended as a postdoctoral fellow at the University Of Westminster & Birmingham City University, UK. Among her latest research projects is the one funded by Cairo University on “Social media policies in Arab universities’ campuses” (2019) & the research grant of the Arab Council for Social Sciences (ACSS) (2018) on “A new public sphere, a new communicative action?” “The institutionalization of the state and the dynamism of young people’s freedoms in the Egyptian public sphere.”
Saleh’s research interests recently focus on media transformations into the digital world and how this affects both the academic domain of media and the Middle East’s social, political, and technological contexts & peoples’ perceptions and behaviors.
