Associate professor of Political Science and International Law at Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University. Professor Rashidy has obtained her PhD in International Relations and International Law from Cairo University, and she has also obtained a Bachelor of Law from Cairo University as well. She also received “Arab Youth Award” for the year 2022 from ALECSO for her research entitled: “Arab Specialized Organizations’ experience in enhancing Arab Collaborative Work: Limits of Reality and Expectations”. In addition, Dr. Rashidy has received the State Incentive Award for the year 2021 from the Egyptian Ministry of Culture for her book: “Cyber terrorism: its nature and efforts to combat it in national and international legislation and laws.” She is currently the Director of the Center for Political Research and Studies and Dialogue of Cultures at Faculty of Economics and Political Science. In addition, she has many legal publications related to the fields of environmental protection, counter-terrorism, the activity of foreign fighters, and the rights of refugees and internally displaced persons.
