Yasser Ibrahim is an assistant professor at the Socio-Computing Dept., Cairo Univ., Egypt. He is currently seconded to the department of MIS, King Saud Univ., KSA. He has a Ph.D. degree in Modeling Complex Adaptive Systems, from the department of Computer Science, Essex University, UK. His master degree was in Operational Research and his B.SC. was in Statistics from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, Egypt. At the professional level, he worked, amongst others, as a programmer, IT project manager, and IT consultant. His current research interests include artificial immune systems, genetic algorithms, supply chain management systems, social norms, and crowd behaviour.
