Bio

Zeinab Elrashidy is a PhD in Finance student at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University. She is an associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK. She is taking part in the teaching activities at Heriot-Watt University (2019 on ward). She used to be an assistant lecturer and a lecturer at Cairo University (2014-2019). She was graduated in 2013 from the joint program between the Faculty of Commerce, Cairo University and J. Mack Robinson College of Business, Georgia State University, Finance and Investment major with an excellent with honour degree.
Zeinab took her first challenge and succeeded in being ranked the first on her 2013 class. Further, she was a member of the team representing Cairo University in the 2013 CFA Institute Research Challenge. By 2015, she was the faculty advisor for Cairo University team in the same challenge.
In December 2013, she decided to go through the CFA Level I exam, and she passed. Zeinab took her second big challenge by enrolling in the June 2014 Level II CFA exam, and she astonishingly succeeded, at the same time she was a M.Sc. student. Zeinab chose to complete the CFA exams by enrolling in the June 2015 Level III CFA exam, and she successfully passed.
In 2017 she earned a M.Sc. in Business Administration from Cairo University; by 2019 she published her first research paper entitled "Performance of Egyptian Mutual Funds". Currently she is working on crowdfunding research area.
