- Graduated from Kasr AlAiny Faculty of medicine - Cairo Univerity, class of 2013, attaining an MBBCh with honors.
- Participated in Internship training for 1 year in multiple rotations in Cairo university hospitals including Kasr Al Ainy Hospital (The biggest hospital in Egypt for management of various adult ailments), Abo el Reesh Hospitals for Pediatrics and neonates, and the Internal Medicine Hospital. Training programs completed during training included; General Surgery, Neurosurgery, General Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Pediatrics and Ob/Gyn. Programs were completed in the year 2015
- Became a resident of Cardiothoracic surgery for 3 years in Cairo university hospitals which included training in various deciplines of both adult and congenital Cardiac and Thoracic surgery. Training took place in various adult and pediatric hospitals affiliated with Cairo university including Kasr Al Ainy hospital, the Internal Medicine hospital, and Abo el Reesh pediatric hospitals. The residency program was completed in 2018.
- Obtained a masters degree in Cardiothoracic surgery from Cairo university in 2018. The research done was to compair the early outcomes of minimally invasive mitral valve surgery with that of conventional mitral valve surgery.
- Obtained a doctorate degree in Cardiothoracic surgery from Cairo university in 2021. The thesis topic was on the minimally invasive thoracic surgery topic of thoracoscopic thymectomy for non-thymomatous Myasthenia Gravis.
- Became a Demonstrator of Cardiothoracic surgery, Cairo university.
- Became an assistant Lecturer of Cardiothoracic surgery, Cairo University.
- Became a Lecturer of Cardiothoracic surgery, Cairo university on March 2022 and is practicing this role to date.
- Took part in 3 training programs abroad; to the USA, Austria, and China for training mainly in surgery.
- Participated in a USAID funded training program at the Cleveland Clinical Main Campus, Cleveland, OH, USA during the period from March till June 2023 under the supervision of Dr. Kenneth McCurry. The program included exposure to the EVLP program, attending clinics, meetings, transplant surgeries (both organ harvest from deceased donors as well as the recipient procedure), rounding with, as well as attending lectures by, experts in the fields of medical and surgical Lung Transplantation, EVLP, and Transplantation Immunology. A lecture about Short Telomere Syndrome was also given by myself to the EVLP team.
