He is an Associate Professor of Environmental Geology at Geology Department, Cairo University, Egypt. He has two master degrees, the first one in structural geology in which he sliced the Mid Sinai fault zone (Cairo University). While the second one in geomatics and land resources management form Florence, Italy. His Ph.D. was in spatial analysis and resilience of mega cities from Muenster University, Germany. He has good experience in geological subjects and geoinformatic techniques (remote sensing and GIS). He is interesting in the approach of integration between earth science disciplines, especially in Environmental implications. He is co-supervisor with other professors mainly in earth science and environment on students working in area of satellite data processing and preparing digital maps for other disciplines, and management all results in GIS database.
He has publications of scientific papers in different topics of geology, environmental planning, spatial resilience, and hydrogeology.
