During his career of 38 years, Prof. Ashraf H. Barkawi paid a special attention to the area of Reproduction of Egyptian buffaloes and application the new techniques (Embryo transfer, in vitro fertilization and artificial insemination) to improve buffaloes’ productive efficiency (See the attached list of publications) as well as support the infra-structure of research.
During the last 15 years, he also has interest to develop the Higher Education in Agricultural (policies and programs). He also has a great interest in Quality Assurance area in higher Education.
Across his career he also participated in discussing and draw strategies of the Egyptian agricultural policy (animal production),and shared in community services in national and Arab region
