FREE international summer school on bioinformatics اعلان عن

The executive team of the EG-CompBio project “Empowering Computational Biology and Bioinformatics Research in Egypt, funded by the DAAD- German Egyptian Progress Partnership Program”, is happy to announce the FREE international summer school on bioinformatics from 25th to 27th of October 2019 (3 full days) at the Nile University, Sheikh Zayed City, Giza, Egypt.

EG-CompBio is an integrated capacity building project to modernize and globalize the research competencies in the field of computational biology and bioinformatics within all Egyptian universities. Participants of the EG-CompBio activities will enjoy high academic and research profiles based on the European standards and accordingly will have better chances for employment not only locally but internationally as well.

We invite all of you (students, graduates, post-graduates, researchers, senior researchers, principle investigators, department leaders, professors, etc.) from all Egyptian universities and research centers to register and join. The entire project activities are designed for all of you and the project capacity fits all. International participants from outside Egypt are also very welcomed.

The summer school will include set of lecture series given by distinguished keynote speakers (from Germany and Egypt) covering various research areas in computational biology. We also provide multiple practical training (mini-workshops) on different levels of difficulties.

Confirmed Speakers:
1-Dr. Mohamed Hamed, the executive manager of EG-CompBio, head of the Integrative OMICS analyses group, Rostock University, Germany.
