I'm a Professor in the metabolic and integrated physiology, Department of Zoology, Faculty of Science, Cairo University. I establish different animal models to study the effect of different natural treatment. I am also interested to study the effect of different xenobiotics on environment. The results of my research are used by thousands of people, who interested in my basic research area. I'm an author of over
, several of which have received best paper or most influential paper awards. Recently, I interested in animal care and use welfare. Since 2014 till now, I am a member of the first institutional animal care and use committee (IACUC) in Egypt. I shared in the conference about animal care and use, in Germany (Aachen University), 2014.
